Heating Foil for Hair Highlights

"Thanks for hanging out so far. Now what we do is we have our foils on Grace's hair. I wanted to show you a technique that if you are not around a dryer to sit under, what you can do is use your dryer. What you do is sit it on low setting and you are going to heat it up just a bit, but you are going to want to remember that you are not going to want to over process your hair, so what you do is after that first initial ten minutes, you let it set and then you check your desired color. If it is not ready then you want to blow dry it. I would suggest checking it approximately every two to three minutes just opening it up and checking it. If it is still not there, close it back up. You can put the dryer back on it for another thirty seconds to a minute, let it set for another two or three minutes and then check it. Because what you do not want to do is over process your hair and when you check it you will see breakage or you are going to see that it is much lighter than you wanted so then you are going to end up going back in and do toners. Right now what I am trying to show you is the easiest way to do it. What you are going to want to notice is if you open this up and you see that your ends are looking very what we call fried or breaking off you are going to want to immediately rinse that out of your hair. That is why I suggest that you check it every two to three minutes until your desired color has come about. "
