"The next part of the haircut that I'll be doing is I'll be cutting and connecting this top of the head to this side of the head and as I had isolated the parietal ridge it's what I'm going to cut to now. I'm going to spray some water and we're going to start in the back of the head on forward. If you can imagine an imaginary line that is creating a square from here to here. Isolate the hair, bring it up to a forty-five degree angle and it's very visible. Right there. What I will be removing. This corner is my point connecting point A to point B. Straight out to you and remove that. Straight out. Create that square from here to here. That's what we're focusing on. Creating the square right here. As I lift this you can see this right here, I'm creating a box that meets right here. As you can see, I've removed the heaviness from around the parietal ridge and I will continue to do that on the other side of his head, and then we'll finish it off at the front. When I learned this technique, when my teacher was telling me that I was creating a box, I had a hard time understanding what that meant because I could not visualize the box on top of my client's head, but I will tell you the exact same thing. What we're doing here is we're creating a nice sharp box all around to create a nice blended haircut for this young man. Bring it out to you, connect point A to point B and remember to remove that corner right there. Forty-five degrees, angle your fingers to connect point A to point B and check and see where the angles are at. Looks great. We'll continue to move on forward."
