on 8/2/2008 excellent! in my years of braiding hair i believe (as depicted in this video) that the patron (person getting their hair done) should be relaxed, ready and receptive (the "3
R's"). When a person is doing hair - their energy should also be relaxed and receptive to the patron. This not only provides a peaceful atmosphere, it also promotes a healthier outcome in terms of post brading "tension" due to the scalp becoming stressed from the brading - it also makes for a more happy and satisfied patron. once again - good job jacqueline!

" Hello this is Jacqueline on behalf of expertvillage.com. In this clip we will be discussing how to set a relax tone for when you are doing cornrows. You want to make sure that your subject is comfortable sitting on a pillow, on the ground, if you need them to move just gently nudge them and ask them to turn the direction that you need them to turn so you could do what you have to do. Also make sure that you wear comfortable clothing and that you take breaks from time to time. You could also get your subject involved and have them string the beads. Put the beads on a string so when you get to that point were you want to put beads in there hair they would be ready. So as a time saver to just make sure that it is a enjoyable experience. Turn on the tv. Let the kids watch a movie while you do there hair."
