Who is it for and how much time do you want to spend on a style? These are time limited if so you may want thicker braids. What shape is the head and face that is being braided and that person preference? What would be complimentary to there face? This is a good place to begin. If it is for a younger child she may want a more fun style like ponytails. You could imagine it or you could actually put your drawing on paper. Which direction do you want the braids to go? Up and down? To the side? Straight back? Which shape is the head and face that is being braided? And what is that person preference? What would be complimentary to there face?
