" Hi! I’m Janie Yasko-Mangum with Successful Style and Image. Today on Expert Village we are gong to talk about slacks for men. As you see, I said slacks for men, not pants for men. When I think of pants for men, I think of 100 percent cotton. The cotton pants for men which for me, drives me crazy when I see men wearing them when they are out of college. What I am talking about slacks and a lot of my clients tell me, well if they are comfortable. Well they maybe comfortable but have you ever tried slacks that have a blend to them of polyester or acrylic or nylon blend to them. They are just as comfortable. Try micro fiber. Let’s look at some slacks. Here we have some beautiful slacks that have a design in the slacks. There you will see some blues, some taupe and some gold in the slacks. This is not cotton slacks. This is a polyester blend slack. It has a drapiness to it. If I were to take these off and show you, it has a drapiness. Let me button this up and you can see. It has a drapiness to it. It fits on your legs just like liquid and it looks really nice, how it flows? When you are wearing 100 percent cotton, it does not flow like this. This gives you sophistication. And these are a lighter type of pants. You may go for a black type of pants. Beautiful black, black. This is not cotton. This is also a polyester blend. It drapes. Here if it is a season that is spring or summer and you need a lighter pair of slacks. Look at this beautiful stone colored of slacks. Again, it has no cotton in it. It is a polyester blend. This one I believe is micro fiber. Micro fiber is absolutely beautiful. If you want to put a little bit of Teflon fabric in your pants, that will then reject any kind of liquid. It won’t stain so bad. You need to remember with your slacks this could be at work but definitely socially do not wear 100 percent cotton of any slacks. Make sure there is a blend to it. Thank you."
