" Hi! My name is Janie Yasko-Mangum and I am with Successful Style and Image. Today on Expert Village we are going to talk about belts. Every man has to own a belt. But there are two belts that I believe are most important in a man’s closet; a black belt and a deep burgundy belt. Now when you wear suits or you wear your business attire, those two are very important also. But even in social attire, if you are wearing a pair of shorts, wearing a pair of slacks, very important no matter if it is a daytime or evening event. When you are looking at belts, look at your hardware. Look at the hardware you could have; a brass, silver, gold belt. That is very important with what you are wearing. If the belt buckle doesn’t really go with the outfit, if you have a silver belt like this here is a brassy brush gold type of belt, this goes very nicely. But in your shirt or in your pants if you have a shine to it or actually in your top if you have a little bit of gray or silver, the hardware needs to be silver. It needs to blend together. You don’t need to have an eye shot of this not blending with the rest. But remember if you are wearing darker pants, it is black. If you are wearing a little bit lighter pants, it is burgundy. That is what is going to look the absolute best and make sure your belts are leather. Thanks. "
