" Hello my name is Jamie Yasko-Mangum and with Successful Style and Image today on Expert Village we are going to talk about the care of your clothes and your accessories. When I talk about care that means how you take your clothes to a dry cleaners, how you take care of your accessories. For instance when you go to work and you are wearing a professional suit what you don't want to do is have a wrinkle suit. You don't want one that is to small for you, you don't want one that is dirty, you do not want one that has buttons off of it, you do not want one that has a hems coming out, you want to take care of your suit. Number one take all of your suits and all your blouses and they say you can stick them in the washer and dryer don't do that. You need to take them to a dry cleaner and have them dry cleaned. That will not only keep the shape of the suit but, it will also keep the color of the suit. Very important that is the same thing with your Cami's and also your blouses. Take care of those clothes. When you are hanging them back on a hanger you don't want to use wire hangers. What you want to use is a plastic or wood hanger. That would also take care of your clothes. When you are looking at your accessories you want to make sure they are in a jewelry box or you want to make sure they are in a platter or maybe on your dresser. If you fine jewelry needs to be cleaned go have it cleaned, go have it sured up the stone that are in it. If is costume jewelry like what we have here you want to make sure that it is shiny. A lot of time in costume jewelry if it is gold and not true gold it would turn colors to silver on you. That is okay we can still not that it is okay to wear but that is something that is normally going to happen so you need to watch it. If you see some of your gold turning silver it is time to get rid of that. You need to buy something new. But that is part of costume jewelry you need to make sure that is plated really well with the gold or the silver. So make sure you take care of your scarf you need to take care of, your pins, your glasses, your rings, it is very important to care for your clothes. Just as thought you would care for yourself.
