Camisoles: Professional Wardrobe for Women

" Hi my name is Jamie Yasko-Mangum and with Successful Style and Image today on Expert Village we are going to talk about the proper camisoles to wear with business suits. Now I would think the majority probably 80% of women that work probably prefer the Cami to wear rather then a long sleeve blouse to wear with a suit. Cami's are perfectly fine to wear with suits. In matter of fact they make you feel better in your suit and that little splash of color could make it absolute make the suit pop. However, there is some major landfall areas that you pit...landfall pit.... areas that women do when they are buying Cami's for there suits. Number one when you are buying a Cami for your suit make sure it is the same material as the suit or it is a blended material make sure there is some of that blend material that is in the suit. You want Cami's that have a little bit of a shine to them. That shine you can get with polyester, that shine you can get that with satin, that shine you can get with a Lycra or spandex, nylon, or acrylic. There is a lot that you can get with Cami's. So make sure the Cami has the same material or some what of the same material that is in the suit. When you are wearing a Cami you want, you can get solid color Cami's, as you see in our burgundy red suit. Solid color Cami's you want the Cami's to match the suit. I should not say match you want them to blend with the suit so that means you like the buttons on the suit here they are a dark pewter color. The dark pewter color goes with a black. You want to make sure the burgundy goes with the black. You want to make sure that your Cami goes with you suit. You can also have pattern Cami's. Don't have any patten Cami's with me today but you can patten or design Cami's. These are other types of Cami's you can have this one here this one haves a lot of stretch to it you can see the stretch in it. A lot of stretch that means there could be a lot of spandex or a lot of nylon. But, see it still haves that shine to it. That shine would go with it real nice but this Cami don't go with this suit at all. So you wouldn't wear you would blend that with this suit at all. Here is a red Cami now this is 100% polyester solid. You can see these are a little bit wider straps wider straps. If we look at the Cami that is in this suit it is a spaghetti strap. That is perfectly fine with that is perfectly fine to wear a Cami with a suit. However, if you get in the office you need if you are going to wear a came like this do not take you jacket off because this type is not office appropriate. So remember Cami's are great with a suit. thanks!"
