"JASON HARRIS: Hi, I'm Jason with ExpertVillage.com. And today, I'm making a bracelet out of wire and coaxial cable. So far we've got our wire. We've made our coaxial beads, and we've made our clasp for the back and for the charm. So next, we need to measure how much wire we're going to need for the whole bracelet. And if I just put it around my wrist and cross over and hold on, that's about how much--that's a good guess of about how much I'm going to need without knots. Now I'm going to keep--I'm going to make knots in this to keep it all together. So I'm going to cut--I'm going to mark on my table, just keep visual of where I'm at. I'm going to mark on the table with my marker the length. That was one side, and this was the other side. I'm going to use this to measure. That's the length I'm going to need if I don't have any knots here, so just go one knot around with the charm. But I'm going to use knots on each side of the coaxial cable plus two in the ends to keep it together. So what I'm going to do with my other piece of wire is I'm going to tie a knot just in the end. And I'm going to need four and possibly five just for good measure because we can cut a little bit off, five knots. So add that to the length of my beads. I'm just going to go one, two, three, four, five. I'll make another mark. And if you don't want to mark on your table, get a piece of paper out and just mark on your paper. So now I've got the length for my wrist and with five knots, so I can actually cut my wire off there and that should give me plenty for knots in my wrist. So the next thing I'm going to want to do is make sure that everything fits, make sure my beads fit and make sure my charm will fit on there before I start tying knots. So we'll do that next."
