"JASON HARRIS: Hi, I'm Jason with ExpertVillage.com. Today, we're making a bracelet out of recyclable wires and things we've just found lying around. We just cut off that coaxial cable for the beads. And now we're going to clean them up and make them nice so we can paint the edges so they don't just look like a piece of garbage. So we're going to take our dremel with our sanding bit. And on each side of the plastic bead where we cut, it's kind of jagged and kind of just---it kind of looks like crap. There's a whole bunch of little pieces on the end. We're just going to smooth that off so that it's a flat surface on each side and then we can paint. And we also need to do some clean up with the black part of the beads, but we'll do that next. We want to put this--we want to get this surface done first. So with the dremel, we'll just take it along. And it doesn't take a lot of pressure, this is plastic. So all we basically have to do is just set each of the four sides down on the sanding bit. And be careful not to push in too hard or it will catch your fingers. So just catch it enough that it can smooth both sides off. You're not trying to cut any length away. You just want to cut the high spots and the rough edges away on both sides. So look at both of them and kind of see what you need to do. This one is worse than the other one. It's got almost the tip on it, so I'm going to want to kinda visualize where I want the flat surface to be. And keep in mind that we don't want to cut any off. We just want to keep it with the same length as these. So I will demonstrate that in the next step."
