"JASON HARRIS: Hi. I'm Jason with ExpertVillage.com. Today, we're making a bracelet out of recycled stuff, wires and things that I just found lying around. And today, we're going to use for the main part of the wire we're going to use this phone line that I found. And inside there are about four wires and we're going to just get one out and use it. The best way that I found to get it out is just take a razorblade and cut in the middle. Try not to cut all the way through, just cut right down the line that's already in the wire. Fold it back and you will see the wires inside. So you've got to pull a couple of these out. There's black and red we'll pull out. You're not going to be able to pull. You could actually have to take the razorblade and cut quite a ways down into the wire. Cut about the length that you think you'll need, which is probably a foot or so, just to be safe. So cut that all the way down. Pull your wire out. Before you cut it off, just kinda make sure it's going to go around your wrist. This isn't the final measurement or anything. You just want to make sure that it's going to go around and there'll be enough room to tie. So I will cut just a little bit more off, just to make sure that we're going to have enough to work with. Because we're going to tie some knots and beads and stuff from there too, so it needs to be a little bit longer. So after you've got the length then just cut the two wires off and that will be the wire for your wrist band. You can just go ahead and keep this for future use. And I'll show you how to make the beads next."
