Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Take still pictures and photographs that you'd like to make a video of. For best results take sequential photos. In this example, I use sequence of photos representing the steps of painting.

  2. Step 2

    Find music in mp3 file.

  3. Step 3

Open the movie editing software. In this example, I used Windows movie maker which is a free software that comes with my pc.

  4. Step 4

Import the photos and mp3 into the movie maker dashboard.

  5. Step 5

Drag and drop the photos in sequence onto the story-board.

  6. Step 6

Click "timeline" and drag and drop the music mp3 to it.

  7. Step 7

Adjust the duration of each picture scene in "timeline", by draging the box for each scene.

  8. Step 8

Adjust the transitions and effects. Click on each scene, and drag and drop your choice transitions and effects to the scene. "Transitions" determines how each scene passes from one to another, and "effects" makes the still pictures "move, zoom, pan or warp". These make the video more interesting; more interesting than slide shows.

  9. Step 9

Add texts, captions, credits. Click "titles and credits", and type in your texts. You can choose whether the texts come before a scene, on top of a scene, before the movie or at the end of the movie. Usually there are texts in the beginning for introduction, and at the end for credits.
Change the color of the texts, background, and change the text effects for more interestingness.

  10. Step 10

Align the end of the pictures and text scenes to the end of the music.

  11. Step 11

Click "publish movie" once you are satisfied with the result.
