"When choosing competition categories, it's important to keep in mind the scale of the pageant, whether it's going to be a large or small pageant. For a larger pageant, you're going to have more categories. It's optional to have a private interview with the judges, and if you do, you want to make sure that the girls wear a business suit, something that is business like for a private interview. For example, this is a nice jacket, and here is a black skirt to complement that jacket. Also, if you look at the shoes that I'm wearing, these shoes are black heels, they are pretty universal for any business outfit that you want to wear for an interview. When preparing for the on stage interview, which is a must, you want to make sure the girls are in their evening gowns at that point."
