"Now we're going to talk about the evening gown competition. The first thing that you want to do is you want to find a prom dress or some type of formal wear. Semi-formal is really not acceptable. You really want to look classy and like you're going to a fancy event. So a shop like this, that's either a wedding or a formal wear shop, is the perfect place to find something like that. You can even find evening gowns at retail places as well. Strapless dresses are okay as long as they're not inappropriate and show too much. You don't want to go too low cut on a gown. Make sure that these dresses look tasteful on these ladies and that they choose something that compliments their figure but is not too revealing. In other words, make sure that the dress is not too short and that it doesn't go right above the knees, and that the slit in the leg of the dress doesn't go too high."
