"ERIN KEITH: Hi. I'm Erin and you're watching Expert Village, and today we're going to be working on corrective base makeup. Okay, next we are going to set the liquid foundation with a powder. Now some people you can use loose powder, like we have here, or you can also use a pressed powder and actually this is a different kind of pressed powder; it's kind of a foundation-powder mix. It's called Studio Fix; it's from--by MAC. I adore it. It has a great coverage; you can even use it when you don't need foundation. It'll have a little bit of medium coverage if you don't really the full foundation coverage. But I also--I like to use it too whenever I am using the foundation; I like to use it to set my liquid foundation. So here is a--this one is a C2; it has a little bit more yellowish tone to it. Once again, so we're going to just take our powder brush and tap it a little bit, get that some of that excess off, and just kind of stroke over your foundation here. See, that's nice; it kinda gives it the matte look 'cause sometimes the foundation can kinda end up looking a little [SOUNDS LIKE] dewey so we're getting a little matte finish here and just kinda spread it all over where you've got it. Okay. Sometimes too if you've got a creases under the eyes from just--I mean it happens sort of everybody's got creases there, but sometimes your concealer and your foundation when they fall on those creases just take like--yeah, ask your client to look up and go right under there, just brush it in there real quick with a sponge so it cleans it and it's very sleek and straight, and go right over right after you do it with a powder. So there you have no creases. And you also want to do that the same with the upper lid--then close, here you go. See, you've got a little crease, just blend it back in and go right over it, so it presses that in sticks so you won't have any more creasing. Sometimes you will but not as bad as you would if you didn't go back and press it. So, and once again, make sure you go around the jawline here and blend down to the neck region, and there you go. You have set your foundation."
