"ERIN KEITH: Hi, I'm Erin and you're watching Expert Village and today, we're going to be working on corrective base makeup. So right now, we're going to start off correcting under the eyes, where the bluish purple is. And you're going to want to take your synthetic brush, your smaller concealer synthetic brush. Just paint a little bit. Okay, look up. Go in right around the areas here, very careful around the eyeline. Try not to stab your client. All right, I know it looks funny right now but it's actually covering up really nicely. You want to spread that around, too. You want to blend it in. Close your eyes. There you go. All right, okay. Do the other eye. All right, and if you do, have clean hands, which I strongly suggest; we always try to practice good hygiene and whatnot so I recommend using your finger. The heat, the warmth from your finger helps spread the concealer 'cause sometimes it can feel a little putty, putty-ish, so--but it warms it up and smooths in quite nicely, or you can use your sponge here. It doesn't matter. Sometimes I feel like the sponge will take off too much product though. So there you go, right under the eyes. See how it has lighten them up a whole bunch right there. All right, the next thing we're going to do is maybe come around these reddish areas. Usually, sometimes right here, around the nose area is kind of where you'll find a little bit more red. All right, you're going to take your sponge and kinda blend that in, right here. Okay, other side. All right, blending that in. All right, yup, under the nose a little bit, here we go. Sometimes, on the chin can be a little red., want to take that redness off there, and sometimes up here betwixt the eyebrows. All right, a little red over here but you're pretty much good, the general gist of it. And also don't be afraid to go over the eyelid, too, with the yellow if it is purple or if it is just a regular little bit red, just go with your more natural-but-still-yellow tone. It's also good for an eye base. Just going to blend it in there. We're going to do this other side. All right, all right. And basically--look over the cameras one more time. Do you see anything else that needs to be corrected? And we'll go back in and blend some more in a minute."
