"ERIN KEITH: Hi, I'm Erin and you're watching Expert Village, and today, we're going to be working on corrective base makeup. Okay, to start on our corrective base makeup today, we need to identify our tools that we'll be using. First off, we have our foundation brush. It is synthetic hairs. It's great for foundation because it doesn't soak up too much of the products and it goes on quite smoothly. We also here have a synthetic brush but this one is your concealer brush. It's a little bit smaller than your foundation, a little rounded edge here just to reach in all the areas. We also have our base eyeshadow brush here and this is made out of sable hair and it's also rounded, good for the shape of the eye. The next brush that we will need is a powder brush; just brushing on your powder, it puts on a nice, even finish. We also have a sponge here, just a regular wedge cosmetic sponge. We're going to need Q-tips, loose powder. See? I'll show you what it looks like. There's some loose powder here. All right, we need liquid foundation. Also, we're going to be using a pressed powder today and we're going to need concealer. And it's also good to have yourself a palette just in case--just like the liquid-based stuff or the cream-based products that you need to scrape off and put on to the palette to mix around maybe, or just to have it there to have an even spread of the product. All right, ready to get started?"
