"I am going to lay the sweater out to dry after it has been washed. You would never put a sweater in a dryer. First of all, it was washed in cold water, and you do not want to add heat, or it will shrink, being that it's wool. So, you would lay it flat to dry, and blot it, somewhat. Now, if I have more of them, I utilize other areas in the shop to dry them, probably overnight. At that point, when I would, and, say I would look, and the spot is not out, I would then, because I have dried it by, naturally as opposed to a dryer, I can then repeat the spotting process, and repeat the water cleaning process, to make sure I get it out or use another chemical on it. However, if you were to put those in a dryer, any spot, that after you have spotted it, you put in a dryer, will be set for life. After this point, I can take the sweater and I would then probably fold it in half, now that it's dry, and I can either hang it on a hanger, or lay it, but we try to keep, pay proper respect to the clothing people bring in. I would then hang it up, and we would then be able to do the finishing of it. The finishing of it, would include the press, which I can do on the press, but I will not do now, or on another method of pressing. "
