"Many of my customers come in on a weekly basis and pick up later in the week. Usually, when they do come in, I fill out a form here and it tells them what it is and if there was a spot on it, on the garment or something. I fill in their name, their phone number and the date and when they want to pick it up. I then give them a receipt. This piece of paper here will go in a bag. Here is my slip, and here are the two garments. This customer has two items and they want to pick it up on Wednesday. I go over to my chart, Wednesday is red and it has two items. I check it to see if at the time she brought it in there were any spots and if there were spots on it, I would have found a spot ticket. And that would be on the garment such as that. That would denote to me that I must take it and pay special attention to spotting that garment. At this point, I can take this and go here and then follow back to the spotting. Now, by looking at these, I can denote that I would rather - since this has rayon and cotton in it - rather do this by a dry cleaning or perc chlorethamine, which is the formal term for "perc." Very few people will ever use that term, they'll say "do you clean by perc?" Perc is an excellent dry cleaning fluid. Now some, I can wash. And if I can wash, like wool, I will then take them back to the laundry area after spotting."
