"There are some home remedies people try. I would not recommend it on silk. A polyester, maybe a little dash of a little soap and water perhaps, doing it very gently and being sure to blot it off. Don't just put them in water, because they're made on a bias and they'll get all dis-formed. Some people use a little Club Soda and gently rub it. The secret to all spotting is be gentle, don't get crazy and going to rub your heart out, because you're going to make the spots worse. On silk, if you use water on silk, you will create a ring. The only way the ring will come out is by washing, and then we have to dry clean, and then it creates a lot of problems. So there are some things you don't even really want to touch too much, but silks are especially in that category. Alright, so now we can throw them in the dry cleaning machine. We will put them in the dry cleaning machine. These are some others I had that were already dry cleaned, but since I have this little group here, I will fold these in. And normally it's with a whole group of clothes, but since I'm doing this for demonstration purposes, I'm going to just put this in now. And lock it down, because we don't want the Perc fumes to get out, there are some health hazards. And I would turn my power on, and I would take it down to "silk". It would go to a cleaning process and it would be then, the Perc would be extracted and spun out, and we would then, when that cycle is over, and take them out. It does a little drying, they aren't sopping wet or anything like that. Take them out and hang them up, and later I would go to press them."
