"An eco spa is a spa that uses as many recycled properties as possible in it's building and it's usage. For instance, for raw we decided to use a lot of acacia wood and bamboo, which are 2 easily recycled woods. We used a lot of paint that is completely nontoxic, meaning there's no VOCs. It's wonderful to keep everything as chemical free as possible. So we're very peculiar as far as the cleaning agents that we used, we use all organic cotton for our bedding, our towels, our robes. All of our organic cotton sheets, ropes, and towels. That's really important to us because we feel that it's important to not only provide the customer with excellent service, but with the highest quality materials available, which also extends to our retail boutique in the front, which you can see behind me, so use only organic products. We've decided to align ourselves with companies that do something for the community in which they're involved or the environment. For instance, we have just added a line called Inner sense, which is an amazing organic hair care line. We also use a lot of soy candles in our boutique. We make sure they come from farms that produce their own soy."
