If you were to multiply that number over a lifetime, it would be difficult to believe you had done your arithmetic properly. Ironically, we tend not to treat our shoes—the most important item of foot protection—with special care. We tend to expect much from our footwear; we want it to do its job consistently and quietly. Yet, we often neglect to maintain our soles, to give our shoes some much needed TLC from time to time.
In this free shoe repair and maintenance video series, learn how to care for your shoes—and by extension, your feet. Our shoe hospital expert will give you tips on how to buff and shine your best pair of leather loafers, as well as how to do some major repairs, like replace a heel or resole the bottom of a shoe, and even how to stretch out new shoes so that you don’t get blisters.
