Finding the Right Size: Plus Size Figures

"I’m Cindra of Abundance here tonight with Expert Village and now we’re going to be talking about sizing. It is not necessary for a plus size woman to always wear a plus size, we here at Abundance actually have searched far and wide for things that you can’t find anywhere else. One of the things that we have realized is that there are a lot of manufactures out there making fabulous that works great for plus size women but they are not even plus size. You see three examples here of three different companies that don’t make plus sizes at all but each one of us is a plus size and we’re each wearing a non-plus size outfit. Michelle is wearing Blanc which is a fabulous suity line, they have European sizing; one, two, three, Michele is wearing a one top and bottom that is actually designed for a 4/6, that’s a regular Missy 4/6, Michelle is a 14/16 and as you can see because it is such a beautiful design, beautiful lines, gorgeous fabric it works perfectly for her. I’m wearing Stalley, Stalley is a company that makes hand painted items, I’m wearing a one-size jacket coat, this coat actually, I’m about an eighteen, this coat fits me beautifully, but I could also put this coat on Michelle or Charmane and they would both look equally wonderful in it, not that you’d ever wear these two things together but as you can see this fabulous coat works just as well for Charmane. Now speaking of Charmane, Charmane is wearing a lovely silk caftan, a one size garment that looks beautiful on any size, it’s flowing, it has a beautiful print and it’s comfortable, what we all look for and it’s wonderful for entertaining, it’s wonderful for evening or dressy. So there are a lot of options out there in the terms of sizing, so please understand that you need to be not locked into sizing. We here at Abundance really take time to work with each individual customer to find what works best for you regardless of size and that’s one of the things that you can count on at a boutique like ours, is that kind of customized service so forget the size, come in, it’s what fits, it’s what looks good, it’s not about the size.
