"In working with my clients, it's important that my room be clean and sanitized. I always make sure that the floor has been swept before each client comes in and I have prepared the table. This is disposable table paper. It's very clean and convenient, especially when I'm going to do the pre-trimming. When there's hair that comes off, then I can just pull this paper off, throw it away, and I've got my layer underneath. Some things that I have, for the cleaning, for, to keep me and my client safe and sanitary, are some gloves, and my sanitization jar for my metal implements. They're supposed to be in here for about ten minutes before. And a large supply of the individual application sticks, because you're only going to be going in once, getting your wax, applying it to your client, and after that, you throw it away. So it's good to have a supply at hand. Before I start a session, of course, I wash my hands with warm soapy water and dry them. And there might be times if my gloves get a little sticky and I need to re-put some new gloves on, then I will use the sanitation gel in between. Get some new gloves and put them on. Also when I'm checking out with my client, when they're pre-booking and making their payment, I sanitize my hands with the sanitizing gel while we're still in the room. By having the room in the waxing professional clean, you will feel more trusting that they're doing a good job and taking good care of you and your skin."
