"Hi, I am Danielle DeCamp with Intuition Salon and Spa. I am the footcare specialist here. Now the next step in our procedure is to remove the excess massage oils and lotions. Now what I use to do that is I use a cotton swab, ball it up and we use acetone, which is also what we use for a nail polish remover to get rid of the excess oils and lotions. Some skin take that and I am going to use my cotton swab to go over very very thoroughly on each nail. Now the reason that we do this is to remove all the oils like I said in the lotions and this is so that when we use our nail polish, it will not slide off, it will stick. Get around the entire toe so that none of the sides back on there and then what you are going to do is take another cotton swab and make sure that is dried off. So it is not eating away at the nail polish when you finished. So go ahead and thoroughly dry all of the toenails and that is the end of removing the massage oils."
