How to Create Volume When Cutting Hair with Scissors

" Hi! My name is Dawn Shannon for Expert Village. So now I’m going to do a little shorter in through here and this creates oomph in through here and creates a head shape and when doing the layering I’m again going to take triangular partings and really exaggerating as much as possible to get volume through here. So now in this area here we want to create volume so I went ahead and I cut a little bit shorter here and basically you take this area and over exaggerate it and it creates a nice bit of volume here which where later we’re going to go through and texturizing through here so we get a little more separation. Okay so I’ve gone ahead and I finished the part of trimming and shaping the hair, I went through and I checked to make sure everything blended and now we’re going to go ahead and we’re going to start cutting with the razor."
