" Hello! My name is Denise Robinson, and on behalf of expertvillage.com I am here to talk about consignment shops and garage sales. In this segment we are going to talk about consignment shops. Consignment shops are set up like a regular retail store; they have their different departments. How this works is a seller can come into the store, bring their items, and they present it to the owner. At that point, they go back and forth on how much they want to sell their items. Once they settle on a price, the owner of the store gets a percentage of the item that the seller is selling it at. It is a good way to sell your items. There are two types of consignment stores, one is clothing, and shoes, and hats and scarfs and men’s clothing, and another one is furniture and appliances. In this segment we will talk about clothing."
