"Hi, I'm Douglas Willott and on behalf of Expert Village we're going to be talking about online jean shopping today. Ok let's say you've gone to the store, you know the size of the jean that you want, you know the brand and you even know the style. The best thing to do is put as much information into a search engine as you can if you're searching for that specific jean. For instance, let's say I've gone and I know I want a pair of Mavi jeans. I'm going to type in Mavi jeans. The first site that going to pop up is going to be some site that is paid to pop up at the top of the search engine that carries that brand. Additionally, you're probably going to get the manufacturer's site, Mavi dot com has showed up. Now there are going to be other places where you can buy these jeans going down the line. Most of these places are going to be good sites, especially on the first page. This means that these are stores that have optimized the search that make it that they show up first, often by being either a popular site or by being a site that has enough business and has enough capital where they know how to do this sort of search engine boosting where they show up early on. Additionally off to the side you're going to find more advertisements for places that are going to sell the product that you're looking for. Sometimes it'll take the specific that you put in, note that you're looking for jeans and give you just generic jeans stores as well. But we know that we want a pair of Mavi jeans so we're going to go ahead and go to a store that we know and trust. We're going to check Nordstrom first. Or perhaps even we can go to a comparison shopping site such as AOL or one of many other great comparison retail shopping sites that look at various retailers and lets you know what the price is. At the top you would type in as much information as you can on the jean. If you know the specific style of Mavi jean you want to create, otherwise you can just type in Mavi jeans. You can even type in something like boot cut, slim fit, etc. The more information you have, the better. And it's going to pop up on there already with some comparison prices for you. The downside to this is that it usually compares only a certain stores. There might be a better price out there that just isn't participating in that comparison, in that comparison site's shopping."
