"Now that we have completed the braids on this head, we want to treat the scalp. Take some sort of light oil, like grape seed or Jojoba. I have grape seed right here. And what you are going to want to do is just dab your fingers in there and kind of blot it wherever you have a part to make sure the scalp is nourished and moisturized and this will help with any type of tension that may have built up. This will help relax your scalp and really keep your hair healthy. Just take the oil and blot it where you have parts, and then also after you do that, you can dab the hair itself to get a nice healthy shine. Try not to rub too much in between because you do not want to break up any hair that is in there. If you are going to rub, then just rub in the direction of the braid and try not too much to go back and forth. Gently blot it in there and put some oil and run it through the braids. Give it a nice shine that is very good and very healthy for your scalp and your hair."
