"Ok we're going to teach everybody out there how to do a braid. If you can do a basic simple braid you can learn to do any kind of braid. Now there's two ways to braid hair as it's hanging. You can either do it in or out. First we want to make sure that the hair doesn't have any tangles and you can get your fingers through it. Right now we're going to do an in braid, and what you're going to do is you're going to separate the hair into three parts. Go ahead and make sure there is no strands crossing over and get it into three separate parts and make sure you grab all the hair. Ok. Now what you're going to do on an in braid is you're going to cross over the middle piece. So grab all your hair. Whichever hand position is most comfortable for you. I like to go like this with large amounts of hair, and you're going to take this left piece over this middle section, collect your middle and pull it to the side. Now you're going to take this right piece and go over the middle and pull this out to the side. You can make this as loose or as tight as you would like. It just depends on how firm your grip is. Now just keep going down the outside hair over the middle, outside hair over the middle and you just want to alternate sides all the way down. Just outside over, over, over until we get all the way down until we can't braid anymore, and that's how we do an in braid."
