Summary: Using two or three pieces of hair, learn how to braid bottom ribs for fishbone braids in this free hairstyle video about hair braiding styles.
"Okay, I am going to start with this half of the spine. And on this side, we are going to braid upside down just so that we can braid towards the main bone of these fish bones braids. And for this you are going to grab a small piece of hair and this is going to be very teeny tiny. You can get them as small as you want. You can do them larger, but for this particular style, you really want to keep it quiet petite. So grab your three pieces of hair and then start to add. And you will find that when you braid in narrow braids, when you get towards the end of it, you have a lot of hair hanging left over, which is good. That is what we want. That is going to help us get that spine in the middle to go all the way down to the edge of the head. Just keep adding and braiding. Be sure to hold onto it tight. Keep it lined up in the middle. We are almost to the edge. And right now, what we are going to do when we finish this, we are going to go ahead and tie it off with the rubber band. We are going to try to get a few of these done and then we will incorporate the spine after we get all of our little tiny ribs done for these fishbones braids. Now we are towards the end. Just go ahead and do it a couple of times. I am going to go ahead and braid it out a little ways just to make sure that I don't lose my place. Keep my rubber band right here and I am going to keep this piece of hair bending down just so it can stay out of the way and now we can do the other side."
