Video Transcript

"What we're getting ready to do right now is the fishbone braid, and it's called that because it looks like a fishbone. What we're going to do is we're going to take the head and feed in a bunch of tiny micro-braids into one big braid to go down the middle. This braid takes a lot of preparation and a lot of starting and stopping over again because of the several braids that feed into the middle one to get the middle one to go all the way down. So before we do this, you really want to make sure that you pick out the hair very well, and you want to make sure it's good and oiled, good and moisturized. That way it can stay ready until you get all the way through to get all the way down to the bottom of the braid. This is very time consuming. But it's a great look. It's a very popular style, and I like it a lot."
