"Tip # 8 is called "Day Versus Night". I've mentioned this several times over the course of this video, and I'd like to take a few moments to focus on it now. Day and night, of course we all know, are very different when it comes to fashion and style in general. This is no exception when it comes to your perfume and your choice of signature scent. I usually recommend that my clients choose two signature scents -one that is entirely appropriate for day, and one that works better for night. We usually recommend a heavier, smokier or muskier scent for evening. This doesn't mean something that smells like smoke, like the inside of a dive bar, of course. This means that something, that you would choose something that has a little bit more of a heft to it, a sort of indefinable, deeper quality. You can use similar words to wine choosing to apply to perfume choosing. So oaky, smoky and the like all apply to perfumes. For an afternoon or a morning scent, you'd want to go with something a little lighter, a little fresher and a little cleaner. So choose a piney or a floral scent for the day, and stick with the spicyA ones or the woodsy ones for evening."
