And your identity. Whether you like spicy scents, floral scents, woodsy scents, musky scents. Once you've determined the flavor of the perfume that you like it's much easier for you to determine what different brands and what different single note scents appeal to you, your personality and your identity. Again, these can change depending on the time of day. The occasion or your mood. Which is a very important thing to keep in mind when you're choosing a perfume and a signature scent. If you tend to prefer a floral over for example, a musk or a woodsy scent, or a spicy scent, these are very, very different. It's important for you to know right off the bat if you're a floral kind of person or a woodsy kind of person. Many perfumes on the market have a mixture of these scents. But most perfumes will have a top note, a base note and several other filler notes. So when you're choosing your perfume make sure you do your research and talk to the counter person so that you can find out if the top note is woodsy, spicy, floral, musky or other."
