"Welcome, my name is Bridget Beaz and I am Gina Habba. On behalf of expertvillage.com in this clip we will talk about iontophoresis. If you would like to know more about facials and our other services please contact us at Bridget 310-432-6671 or Gina at 818-633-2396. What Bridget is doing now is she is applying a mask to the skin and she is preparing it so that we can do iontophoresis and what iontophoresis is, it is an intermittent current that forces the vitamins deeper into the skin. The purpose of forcing the vitamins deeper into the skin is to stimulate the collagen in the skin and to help stimulate new elastin so that we get a tighter, plumper and healthier skin. So I am applying the hygienic mask which would harden on the skin that will feel very very comfortable and also soothing and then I will apply some electrodes and start the iontophoresis process, again the client might experience a little bit of tingling. The mask is really very comfortable and one another thing that makes this treatment so unique is that you can treat the entire eye area. Most treatments that people have done today go around the eye area and the philosophy of environ is that we want to be able to restore the entire skin back to its optimal health. So the first treatment that we do on somebody will cover the eyes and we will leave the mouth open. In future treatments though Bridget will actually cover the mouth area too so that we can treat the delicate skin on the lips as well. And we never forget the difficulty which people tend to forget a lot."
