How to Finish Sewing a Flared Skirt

"Hi, I'm Candi Cane Canncel for Expert Village. So we've done most of everything in our skirt the last step is to do the hem. So what you are going to do is the same thing you did to the top is simply fold the hem up. What I like to do with the hem is do a double layer hem. Instead of just folding up once, we are going to actually fold it up twice. I think it just makes it hang better when it has a little bit of weight to it. So go ahead and fold it up twice iron it and then you are going to pin it, do this all the way around the skirt until you get back to the same where you started then we'll be ready to stitch it. We are finishing it up. This is the last step and pretty soon you'll have a fabulous new skirt. We're almost at the end of our hem and there we are our fabulous new flare skirt is finished.
