"Hi, I'm Candi Cane Canncel for Expert Village. So to get your hook and eye started, you just simply stick the hook part kind of into the seam and you are going to hand sew it. It takes a few little stitches on each side, come around to the other side. Then once you are finished now you are ready to sew the little eye part on the other end of the skirt. Then you take your eye and you are going to insert it into here just like you did the hook; then you are ready to sew it. "
