"Hi, I'm Casey I'm with Elements University. I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. In this segment I'm going to give you a tip on how to blend the top, the longer part of the hair to the clipper part that we previously cut. Obviously the next step when cutting hair is we need to blend this, we can't let our clients walk out like this. The thing that I see the most is that people want to actually come in and start scissor over combing that and blending that. Well that is great but you're going to be creating a lot more work than if you actually were to come through and hold the hair right at this straight right where you need to blend it. Hold it straight out at a 90 degree angle come in and take off all that excess hair off cause once you see after I cut the hair, I have a lot less hair than what I need to work with when I need to go in and blend that. So again just like I said right in the section that you know where you're going to start doing your scissor over comb, just pull the hair out at a 90 degree angle straight out from the head and cut that off. You don't have to worry about that hair. Stay tuned for our next segment which I'm going to show you how to do the scissor over comb."
