Cutting the Top of Hair for a Man's Clipper Haircut

"Hi, I'm Casey I'm with Elements University. I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. In this segment I'm going to show you how to cut the middles top section of the haircut. So when I'm talking about the middle section I'm just talking straight right here which I will line up between both eyes. Right in the middle of both eyes so I'm just going to draw in imaginary line and I'm going to take from this section this is what is considered my middle section. Some of you might of heard of it as a Mohawk section but it's just this top center section on the head. What I'm going to do is I'm going to take small sections again I'm going to point cut so that way I'm adding texture and then the hair will blend easily when it lays down. I'm going to go ahead and comb it forward pick up another section I'm going to follow my guide which I can see right there and I'm going to keep point cutting. I'm just going to keep moving forward on the top. Now I'm at the point where I'm at the front part of his hair and in my consultation my client and I discuss that he wants it a little bit longer so all I'm going to do is I'm going to extend my fingers up just slightly over my last guide and again I still going to point cut. This way I'm still going to go up and gradually leave length for me in his front bang area. At this point I'm left with this bangs section so that now what I'm going to do is I'm going to hold the hair straight out in front of my client I'm going to use quite a bit attention I'm going to come in and point cut this. Never come in and cut straight across cause you don't want to give him actual bangs. What this is going to do is just going to take the length right off the front.
