Video Transcript

"Hi, I'm Casey I'm with Elements University. I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. In this video series, I'm going to show you how to properly drape to get ready for the mens haircut. First thing you want to do is whenever your client comes in with a collar shirt is you want to tuck it under to make sure that you don't get any hair clippings on it. Then we're going to place what is called a neck strip and we're just going to put that right on his neck and then you're going to go ahead and put the cape on. When you do this you want the cape to touch your neck strip and not this skin. You want to fasten it fairly tight so that when you use the clippers and use your sheers that the hair will not fall down on his neck and you want to make sure you have at least a fingers guide in there. Stay tuned for our next segment which I'm going to show you how to use the clippers."
