"Hi I'm Casey on behalf of Expert Village and in this segment I'm going to cut the back section of this haircut. When starting you always want to start at the bottom and work your way up. When cutting with a razor you want to have complete tension and you want to cut behind your fingers and I'm going to be taking about a 1/2 inch to a inch off my haircut and I'm going to work my up. Okay keep in mind that you definitely want to have tension when cutting with a razor if not you are going to end up pulling your clients hair. Always go back comb the hair, kind of move it a little bit so you can see where the texture lies. At this point I'm going to move over to the next section again starting at the bottom and working my way up using tension and I'm also remembering where my fingers are when I'm doing the haircut. So that way I know that I keep my guide and the haircut is going to be even all the way around. Again keeping everything tight and now I'm going to move over to the side section. You could actually see where I cut the haircut prior and then all of this needs to come off so what I'm going to do so I'm going to slide my fingers out, I'm going to come right behind and I'm going to cut that off. I'm going to work my way up that is the section I need to cut off I'm going to come behind using tension and just pulling straight down. That section and cut. In this section right here when you get right behind the ear you want to pull the hair towards the face so that way you could keep the hair a little bit longer but you can also kind of give that fringe look because of course the difference between this haircut and a shear is that you want it to be textured. What that does it gives it a little bit more movement right here along the neck line. So once I gotten this side done we are going to move on over to the next side doing the same thing using tension and cutting behind your fingers. Always remember where you finger placement is on the head so that way can make sure that the haircut is balanced. Again keep working up the head. Stay tune to the next segment which I'm going to show you how to go back and cross check your work. "
