When you want to start waxing, you want to make sure you have clean hands; hence the antibacterial, and you want to prep the skin with a little bit of pre-appellation oil which just helps to soften the skin and prepare it for waxing. And you just kinda want to spread it around in a very thin layer, if you put too much oil the wax will not come off and you won’t get any hair removal. I just like to go back over and just to make sure I don’t have too much oil. And you want to get a large spatula because this is a fairly large area to do. And you want to test your wax; you want to make sure that it’s not too hot and it’s not too cool, if it gets too cool it gets a little bit thicker and it’s a little bit harder to work with. You just want to place the syringe, not the syringe, the spatula on the skin, and pull down at a forty-five degree angle. And you just want to do a very thin layer of wax, and you just place the muslin strip on, and notice I’m going down with the same way that I put the wax on. And you just want to go over that a couple of times. You also want to make sure that you don’t get any wrinkles in the muslin, because once you pull it off it’ll get stuck and it’ll hurt. You can bend your leg for me. Just go over it a couple more times, and when you’re doing leg waxing you want to make sure that you pull the skin from underneath; anytime you’re doing any waxing you want to make sure you pull the skin. And then you pull upwards against the hair, and you just want to make sure that you smooth that back out; and that kinda helps with the stinging also. And then you just do the rest of the leg the same way. You want to make sure that you place your wax at a forty-five degree angle, and pull down.
