" Hello, this is Sherry Krieger for Expert Village.com. We are furthering on with our demonstration of hot stone massage. Today we are going to place the smaller, medium stones and the small stones like so, and you have to be careful as a massage therapist in handling these stones because they are in hot water, and they can damage your hands. You pull the stones out of the hot water. Sometimes we use thongs, which is best when the water is very, very hot, but you also have to make sure and ask your client as you are going along if the stones are too hot because you need to remove them and let them cool a little bit first. So we are going along with the smaller, medium size stones along back as we wipe them before we put them down so they don’t slip everywhere. All right. And the smaller stones are generally used on the hands in between the fingers as we are showing here. Once again, wiping them before you apply them."
