" Hi! I am Cherie Terry at Cherie Terry Permanent Cosmetics in beautiful Sedona, Arizona at 204-1866 928 area code on behalf of Expertvillage.com. Now we are talking about sterilization. The main thing with sterilization is making sure that you get all of the germs out. Nowadays they have presterilized disposable needles, pouches, needles and tubes. What we do is they sterilize in a pouch. I have the pouches, these are self steaming pouches. What you do is you put in… what I would do is I would sterilize my tweezers and then I would sterilize my scissors that I use. One per bag, you just put them in, flip this, seal it, this is now ready to go. You cannot see this, but very, very lightly it says the word defend. When this has been sterilized completely to the right degrees it will turn out saying defend, where you can read it. This is actually put into an autoclave like this and autoclave reaches a certain amount of degrees for a certain amount of time to kill all the germs. We keep this on premises to just sterilize any other things that are not disposable. First it is cleaned with an ultrasound, get as much of debris out of it, then rinse and put into this autoclave which usually takes about 20 minutes or so. Then it is brought out looking for the defend and then they are ready to go."
