"What I'd like to show you now is how ladies walk the ramp using one hand on the hip. I'm referring back to pose #2 when we put our hand on our pelvic bone, fingers relaxed and upward, the elbow is pressing forward so that we keep a broad upper body and taper down toward the legs. As I begin to walk I'm going to use the same catwalk that I taught you before with one foot directly in front of the other, and walking up and back let the left hand swing naturally, just as you learned before. Not too much swing, just a little to be relaxed, and again, keep that power face on. You need that attitude to show that you totally know what you're doing and want to show the catwalk with one hand on the hip. Watch my toes again stay perfectly forward, and watch the elbow - it doesn't move as I walk, it's just placed on the hip for style. It creates a very stylish walk so that you don't always have to walk with your hands down, you can bring one hand up if you'd like to, and you can see that the move adds just a little bit of drama, which is what we want since we are performing in our wardrobe. This creates interest in the audience and often times the ladies feel more comfortable with one hand on the hip. It's just a matter of feeling comfortable and natural. So, I want you to notice one hand on the hip is another way of doing the catwalk. Keep the power face on and you can practice in front of a mirror so that you check your toes, making sure they are overlapping, checking your arm that you keep the elbow forward and pressed, and the fingers stay relaxed, don't forget that. Ladies, now that you've learned how to do the catwalk with one hand on your hip, I want you to stay tuned. I'm going to teach you how to do the catwalk with two hands on your hips."
