"Hi, I'm Chris Faircloth, Artistic Director and co-owner of Salon Teez. For Expert Village, this is how to trim women's hair. I'll now drop the top over that and comb the hair in it's natural fall. Again, I'm careful not to comb this hair back as this hair typically lives on the front of the head and wants to tend to fall towards the face. By combing this back we actually create a long, or a short to long coming from the back to the front effect. Since we want this to be even all the way around, we'll actually comb that in a natural fall where the hair will naturally live or fall onto the face. Combing the hair straight down, I can see my guide underneath and I'll let that just slip slightly in my fingers, resting the bottom blade on my finger and just continually cutting until the hair gradually just falls off. Still combing the hair in the natural fall, and now we've got a nice textured end on the ends of our hair. We'll do the same thing on the opposite side of the head. Now we've got a nice even haircut although the ends are very textured and soft."
