How to Apply Dramatic Lip Color

"Now to take Carry's lip to a sensational lip treatment we are going to go for a little bit of a stain just to stain the mouth so that even if she is sipping on a lovely glass of wine or champaign she won't loose the color. So I'm going to go ahead and just do a light application of a very soft berry lip color. I chose berry cause Carry has these beautiful pin under tone to her lips so it would naturally enhance that pigment. Moving on from the lip stain I'm going to outline her lips with a little bit more of a dramatic lip pencil just sketching every so lightly. Outlining her lips very detailed for a evening for that sensational and now I'm going to add a little bit more of a very lip color. You can use anything that is a couple of tones up from what you would normally use in a everyday bases just to feel comfortable so I'm taking this beautiful wine color again tying in with that lovely pink shadow highlight that I have add to her eyes for her sensational look. You want to make sure that all the colors flow, working the color on the boarder of the lips and just really feather towards the interior of her lips. Now we are going to add lip gloss. I like to mix colors again custom blending it for my client you can go ahead and put it on the back of your hand. I'm chosen a pink and a orange combination again this sounds pretty scary but when it mixes in with that beautiful berry color on her mouth it is going to be a very sensational pout. I mix the colors by placing the 2 shades on the back of my hand, blend them all together and take a swipe of that and place it right on the interior of the lips for that sensational pout.
