How to Apply Blowout Hairstyling Products

"I'm Amelia Smith and on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to talk to you about how to do the perfect blowout. Really that the products now these days they are very concentrated so you don't need to use a lot and that is where most women makes their mistakes. Is they put a big glob of product on their hand and then slap it right on the top of their head and they are going to get a flat hair, a flat all through here. Then they tend to get a greasy spot as well. Really you don't need more maybe than a size of a pea or even a nickel. This is a smoother that I'm going to apply to Lauren's hair and I'm going to apply that through the ends. What that is going to do since she has natural curl in her hair that is going to help smooth out those ends. Now to give her more volume through the roots I'm going to apply a volumizing spray and this I'm going to apply right at the roots. So I'm going to lift her hair and then stray it. This is where you are going to want that style support so that is where you are going to be using majority of the volumizing products. All volumizing products will be applied around this area so you'll really be lifting the hair to apply those products. Smoothing products will be mostly applied from the mid shaft to the ends and what the mid shaft is about half way down the hair shaft to of course to the very ends. So once you applied those products you want to mystify them through the hair which basically means just move them around, you can even comb them through and that is how you are going to saturate your head and get the product to work without using too much."
