"Hi! I'm Aneta Filardo, owner of Winter Park Laser & Anti-Aging Center and I am here on behalf of Expert Village. During segment 8, I will discuss after care for laser hair removal. Immediately after the treatment, there may be redness and bumps at the treatment area which may last up 2 or more hours. Use a cold compress if necessary. The use of Aloe Vera gel or sunburn cream can also be used to soothe the treated area. It is important to keep the treated area moisturized. Any moisturizer without alphahydroxy acid will work. Avoid direct sun exposure to reduce chances of dark or light spots for 2 months. Use sun screen SBF 25 or higher at all times throughout the treatment. Remember the lighter the skin tone, the darker the hair, the better the treatment and the better the results faster. You may shower after the laser treatment and use soap, deodorant, etc. The treatment area may be washed gently with a mild soap.
