"Alright, so next I'm going to show you ladies some tips on how you can make some nice, simple, soft, retro styles with your hair. Now, I won't go into anything too elaborate because I know it's easy to look at some of those photos of the old hairstyles. But how in the world do I do that? So I'll try to do some real basic stuff despite whether you have shorter hair like mine or if it's longer. I just started with clean hair today. So whether you have curly hair or straight hair, something real simple. I like to do this once in a while. It's easy and it's fast and it keeps your hair out of your face. I'll just do a little twist like so and I'll bring it back. Bobby pins. Make sure you have lots of bobby pins. They're great for when you're doing these styles. I have some dark ones today. I know I have blond hair, so you know get the bobby pins that match your hair color. Don't do what I'm doing here. So here's one little tip, just do a sweet little, a twist like this off to the side and you can do it on both sides. And if you have some flowers or some accessories, you can just kind of incorporate it into that and create it like that. So you have a nice little accessory, a nice little twist. It's something really simple, but it adds a real nice feminine touch, I think. Now, another tip that I will show you here, are like little finger waves. I'm not the master of them by any means, but they can be a little difficult, but they can be fun too. So what I'm going to do is I have some curling irons here and I'm going to have them just kind of help guide me to create some curl here. Of course, curls are great. Whether you have the old pink sponge rollers that you're brave enough to sleep on or hot rollers, those are a lot of fun and curling irons, of course. So here's what I'm going to do, actually I'm going to use a smaller barrel of the curling iron. This one is going to work better. I'm going to let this sit for a while. So yeah, keep bobby pins on hand. That's always great. Maybe some different curlers or curling irons are great. So let's see. Here's a great pin curl. If you have a piece of hair like this, just kind of wrap it like so. I know it probably, it takes some work. It takes some tries. You've got to kind of got to play with your hair and get it to work. Let's see if I can do this today. Get my bobby pin. I'm just going to hold it in there like so and you can do a couple of these. You can do ones on the top of your head, ones to the side. It's really basic. I'm doing it kind of fast. It takes a little more time usually, but I don't want to make it look too impossible. They're just little twists that you can do with your fingers and create some curls in your hair. Some people will do this to all their hair and sleep in it too and that can look kind of nice too, sometimes. So I'm going to get another bobby pin. Put that right in there. So you can, you can create some of these. You can make them bigger or you can make them smaller. I think a great essential for your hair to have are the flowers. So sometimes you can buy them already made with little clips on the back. Or if you want, you can go to your craft store and in the craft section, find some flowers and it's going to be a lot cheaper like that. And just you know glue some bobby pins on the back or some little barrettes. Or glue some flowers to a headband. But it always looks really nice when you add them in with your outfit. You can take fresh flowers, of course and that's a lot of fun, especially if it's for a wedding or something. Incorporate them into your hair. You can do your hair back. You can add lots of extravagant flowers. But it just adds a nice little touch, the flowers or if you have some rhinestone barrettes and what not. Again, the curling irons and what not are just a lot of fun. Like these barrels here, they're going to make, the fatter barrels are going to make some bigger curls. The smaller ones are great for some smaller curls and I know now how hot this one is. But you know, so just kind of play with it. Have some flips on your hair and what not. So there you have it. There's just some tips for your hair. So I hope you find one that works for you."
